We had a lovely stay, but the heating was playing up a bit and the lounge could have been cozier. The breakfast though? Absolutely off the charts, mate!

I absolutely loved my stay at Disblair House! The decor had a unique charm and the attention to detail was impressive. I was thrilled with the breakfast options. the full Scottish breakfast was cooked to perfection, showcasing local ingredients. The electric blankets kept me warm and cozy during the night, while the ensuite bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. The honesty bar was a fun touch, allowing me to enjoy a nice glass of wine by the fire. I did notice that the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty, which made it challenging to stay connected. The access road to the house was a bit rough, so it might be tricky for some vehicles. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was delightful, thanks to the warm hospitality from Chris and Karolyn.

Stunning countryside views, engaging hosts, striking historical decor
Access road rough and rutted!!! Wi-Fi connection poor at times!!! Limited local dining options necessitating travel!!! Some rooms lack air conditioning!!! Rooms can feel cramped for families!!! More evening activities would be nice!!!

Cozy stay with amazing hosts!
We had a lovely time! Chris and Karolyn were super friendly, even lit candles for us when the power went out. Our room was spacious and comfy, and we found some cool drinks in the honesty bar. Breakfast was crazy good! Just wish there were more outlets in the room to charge all our devices.

We had an amazing stay with two other couples. The family suite was incredibly spacious, complete with a fridge for our late-night snacks. Breakfast was simply fantastic—the gluten-free options were a true lifesaver for one of my friends!
In my wife’s opinion, the garden could use more activities for the kids.
